Stationery Product Price in Sweden (FOB) - 2023

In June 2023, the average stationery product export price amounted to $1,468 per ton, increasing by 6.7% against the previous month. Over the period under review, the export price showed a relatively flat trend pattern. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in April 2023 when the average export price increased by 11% month-to-month. The export price peaked at $1,515 per ton in November 2022; afterwards, it flattened through to June 2023.

Prices varied noticeably by the country of destination: the country with the highest price was Norway ($4,708 per ton), while the average price for exports to Finland ($738 per ton) was amongst the lowest.

From June 2022 to June 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Slovakia (+4.5%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.

The average stationery product import price stood at $2,236 per ton in June 2023, dropping by -26.8% against the previous month. Over the period under review, the import price, however, recorded a relatively flat trend pattern. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in February 2023 an increase of 30% against the previous month. Over the period under review, average import prices reached the peak figure at $3,056 per ton in May 2023, and then shrank notably in the following month.
