The average spices; mixtures import price stood at $3,789 per ton in 2022, with an increase of 3.5% against the previous year. In general, the import price, however, recorded a relatively flat trend pattern. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2016 when the average import price increased by 10% against the previous year. The import price peaked at $3,876 per ton in 2012; however, from 2013 to 2022, import prices stood at a somewhat lower figure.
There were significant differences in the average prices amongst the major supplying countries. In 2022, amid the top importers, the country with the highest price was Japan ($5,372 per ton), while the price for Myanmar ($399 per ton) was amongst the lowest.

As a result, the export price attained the peak level of $6,619 per ton. From May 2022 to September 2022, the the average export prices failed to regain momentum.
