Price for Photographic and Photocopying Equipment in the United States (FOB) - 2023
The average photographic and photocopying equipment export price stood at $21.3 per unit in August 2023, which is down by -2.4% against the previous month. In general, the export price, however, showed a relatively flat trend pattern. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in November 2022 when the average export price increased by 11% m-o-m. The export price peaked at $23.2 per unit in May 2023; however, from June 2023 to August 2023, the export prices remained at a lower figure.
There were significant differences in the average prices for the major external markets. In August 2023, the country with the highest price was the UK ($34.2 per unit), while the average price for exports to Taiwan (Chinese) ($12.5 per unit) was amongst the lowest.
From August 2022 to August 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to the Netherlands (+3.2%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.

The average photographic and photocopying equipment import price stood at $38.9 per unit in August 2023, shrinking by -1.7% against the previous month. In general, the import price, however, continues to indicate a relatively flat trend pattern. The growth pace was the most rapid in October 2022 when the average import price increased by 41% month-to-month. As a result, import price reached the peak level of $45.0 per unit. From November 2022 to August 2023, the average import prices remained at a somewhat lower figure.
