In 2022, the average import price for imines and their derivatives; salts thereof; chlordimeform (ISO) amounted to $2,588 per ton, increasing by 5.9% against the previous year. Overall, the import price, however, saw a deep reduction. The import price peaked at $8,143 per ton in 2012; however, from 2013 to 2022, import prices remained at a lower figure.

There were significant differences in the average prices amongst the major supplying countries. In 2022, amid the top importers, the country with the highest price was Belgium ($4,375 per ton), while the price for India stood at $1,000 per ton.

From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Belgium (-5.5%).

The total import volume increased at an average annual rate of +4.3% from 2019 to 2022; the trend pattern remained relatively stable, with only minor fluctuations in certain years. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2021 with an increase of 13% against the previous year. As a result, imports reached the peak of 18 kg, and then declined in the following year.

In value terms, imports of imines and their derivatives; salts thereof; chlordimeform (ISO) amounted to $44 in 2022. Over the period under review, imports continue to indicate a slight downturn. The smallest decline of -2.2% was in 2020.
