In December 2023, the average import price for cycles; parts, pedals and crank-gear, and parts thereoves amounted to $40,401 per ton, dropping by -9.8% against the previous month. Over the period under review, the import price showed a pronounced setback. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in January 2023 when the average import price increased by 13% month-to-month. The import price peaked at $70,610 per ton in April 2023; however, from May 2023 to December 2023, import prices failed to regain momentum.

Prices varied noticeably by the country of origin: the country with the highest price was Taiwan (Chinese) ($72,197 per ton), while the price for Mexico ($8,928 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
