The average import price for cycles; parts, pedals and crank-gear, and parts thereoves stood at $38,777 per ton in December 2022, dropping by -43.9% against the previous month. In general, the import price, however, posted a slight increase. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in February 2022 when the average import price increased by 97% m-o-m. As a result, import price attained the peak level of $91,869 per ton. From March 2022 to December 2022, the average import prices remained at a lower figure.
There were significant differences in the average prices amongst the major supplying countries. In December 2022, the country with the highest price was Taiwan (Chinese) ($92,535 per ton), while the price for China ($12,322 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From December 2021 to December 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Malaysia (+5.9%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced mixed trend patterns.

Overall, the export price continues to indicate a noticeable decline. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2015 when the average export price increased by 1,289% against the previous year. The export price peaked at $180,238 per ton in 2019; however, from 2020 to 2022, the export prices remained at a lower figure.
Prices varied noticeably by country of destination: amid the top suppliers, the country with the highest price was Taiwan (Chinese) ($98,531 per ton), while the average price for exports to Uzbekistan ($7,941 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Taiwan (Chinese) (+10.7%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.
