The average export price for crustaceans, molluscs and other aquatic invertebrates, prepared or preserveds stood at $1,284 per ton in 2022, approximately mirroring the previous year. Over the period under review, the export price, however, showed a pronounced shrinkage. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2019 an increase of 63%. The export price peaked at $2,063 per ton in 2012; however, from 2013 to 2022, the export prices remained at a lower figure.

Average prices varied noticeably for the major external markets. In 2022, amid the top suppliers, the country with the highest price was South Korea ($1,357 per ton), while the average price for exports to Malaysia totaled $1,231 per ton.
