In November 2023, the average import price for chocolate bars with cereals, fruit or nuts amounted to $6,420 per ton, reducing by -7.9% against the previous month. In general, the import price, however, saw a relatively flat trend pattern. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in January 2023 when the average import price increased by 19% m-o-m. The import price peaked at $7,181 per ton in April 2023; however, from May 2023 to November 2023, import prices remained at a lower figure.
There were significant differences in the average prices amongst the major supplying countries. In November 2023, the country with the highest price was Peru ($10,415 per ton), while the price for New Zealand ($4,701 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From November 2022 to November 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Spain (+4.7%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced more modest paces of growth.

In November 2023, the average export price for chocolate bars with cereals, fruit or nuts amounted to $3,417 per ton, picking up by 19% against the previous month. From November 2022 to November 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Singapore (+9.7%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced mixed trend patterns.
