The average blankets and travelling rugs import price stood at $4.5 per unit in January 2022, dropping by -11.8% against the previous month. Over the last twelve months, it increased at an average monthly rate of +2.8%. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in June 2021 an increase of 26% against the previous month. Over the period under review, average import prices reached the maximum at $5.2 per unit in December 2021, and then reduced in the following month.
There were significant differences in the average prices amongst the major supplying countries. In January 2022, the country with the highest price was India ($7.9 per unit), while the price for Thailand ($1.9 per unit) was amongst the lowest.
From January 2021 to January 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Belarus (+8.4%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced more modest paces of growth.

From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Turkmenistan (-0.9%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced a decline.
