The average import price for bedspreads; not knitted or crocheteds stood at $7.9 per unit in August 2023, with an increase of 39% against the previous month. Overall, the import price, however, recorded a relatively flat trend pattern. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in September 2022 when the average import price increased by 86% month-to-month. The import price peaked at $16.0 per unit in April 2023; however, from May 2023 to August 2023, import prices remained at a lower figure.
There were significant differences in the average prices amongst the major supplying countries. In August 2023, the country with the highest price was Poland ($13.9 per unit), while the price for India ($5.0 per unit) was amongst the lowest.
From August 2022 to August 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Turkey (+13.8%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced more modest paces of growth.

The average export price for bedspreads; not knitted or crocheteds stood at $10.5 per unit in August 2023, jumping by 55% against the previous month. Over the period under review, the export price continues to indicate a notable expansion. The growth pace was the most rapid in April 2023 an increase of 130% m-o-m. As a result, the export price attained the peak level of $17.0 per unit. From May 2023 to August 2023, the the average export prices failed to regain momentum.
Prices varied noticeably by the country of destination: the country with the highest price was Serbia ($35.5 per unit), while the average price for exports to Hungary ($5.1 per unit) was amongst the lowest.
From August 2022 to August 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Serbia (+14.4%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.
