In September 2023, the average metals; platinum, semi-manufactured import price amounted to $7.0M per ton, with a decrease of -54.8% against the previous month. In general, the import price showed a mild decline. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in March 2023 an increase of 237% against the previous month. Over the period under review, average import prices reached the peak figure at $32.1M per ton in April 2023; afterwards, it flattened through to September 2023.

Prices varied noticeably by the country of origin: the country with the highest price was the United States ($10.4M per ton), while the price for Switzerland stood at $3.7M per ton.

From September 2022 to September 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by the United States (+1.5%).
