The average frozen vegetable import price stood at $1,195 per ton in 2022, with an increase of 1.8% against the previous year. Over the last decade, it increased at an average annual rate of +1.1%. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2021 when the average import price increased by 10%. The import price peaked in 2022 and is expected to retain growth in the immediate term.
Prices varied noticeably by country of origin: amid the top importers, the country with the highest price was Germany ($1,536 per ton), while the price for Poland ($883 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Poland (+3.4%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced more modest paces of growth.

The average frozen vegetable export price stood at $1,320 per ton in 2022, falling by -19.2% against the previous year. Overall, the export price recorded a slight slump.
