Dried Apricot Price in Iran (FOB) - 2022
In 2022, the average dried apricot export price amounted to $2,064 per ton, declining by -7% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the export price, however, recorded a relatively flat trend pattern. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2013 an increase of 27%. As a result, the export price reached the peak level of $2,426 per ton. From 2014 to 2022, the average export prices remained at a somewhat lower figure.
Prices varied noticeably by country of destination: amid the top suppliers, the country with the highest price was Turkey ($5,075 per ton), while the average price for exports to Ukraine ($792 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Azerbaijan (+14.7%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.

In 2022, the average dried apricot import price amounted to $1,937 per ton, rising by 4.6% against the previous year. Overall, the import price posted a notable increase. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2014 an increase of 91%. Over the period under review, average import prices reached the maximum at $3,490 per ton in 2015; however, from 2016 to 2022, import prices failed to regain momentum.
