Clove Price in Egypt (CIF) - 2022
In 2022, the average clove import price amounted to $8,426 per ton, with an increase of 31% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the import price continues to indicate a buoyant expansion. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2020 when the average import price increased by 47%. Over the period under review, average import prices hit record highs in 2022 and is expected to retain growth in years to come.
Average prices varied noticeably amongst the major supplying countries.
