Cereals; Oats, Seeds Price in Germany (CIF) - 2023

The average cereals; oats, seeds import price stood at $1,083 per ton in June 2023, surging by 5.7% against the previous month. Overall, import price indicated a temperate increase from June 2022 to June 2023: its price increased at an average monthly rate of +2.1% over the last twelve-month period. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. Based on June 2023 figures, cereals; oats, seeds import price increased by +52.7% against April 2023 indices. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in November 2022 when the average import price increased by 205% against the previous month. The import price peaked in June 2023.

There were significant differences in the average prices amongst the major supplying countries. In June 2023, the country with the highest price was France ($3,107 per ton), while the price for Belgium ($568 per ton) was amongst the lowest.

From June 2022 to June 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Spain (+16.9%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced more modest paces of growth.

The export price peaked at $1,602 per ton in May 2023, and then dropped in the following month.

There were significant differences in the average prices for the major export markets. In June 2023, the country with the highest price was Spain ($6,069 per ton), while the average price for exports to Luxembourg ($824 per ton) was amongst the lowest.

From June 2022 to June 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Hungary (+17.3%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.
