Its primary trading partner was the U.S., where it supplied 15.1% of its total sanitary ceramic fittings exports in value terms, accounting for 46.7% of the U.S.'s total imports.

China continued its dominance in the global ceramic household and toilet article trade. In 2014, China's exports of ceramic household and toilet articles skyrocketed, standing at 1.9 million tonnes and totaling 4.9 billion USD, 82% over the previous year. Its primary trading partner was the U.S., where it supplied 17.0% of its total ceramic household and toilet article exports in value terms, accounting for 62.3% of total U.S. imports.
